Prerequisites

Students must meet the following requirements before enrollment:

  • Valid photo ID and Social Security Card
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Clear criminal background check
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test within three days of the start date
  • Recent TB test results (offered onsite for $50)
  • Working knowledge of computers and typing speed of at least 20 wpm
  • Professional liability insurance (available through HPSO)

Costs and Payment Options

The total cost for the program is $4,250, with additional fees for materials, supplies, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification totaling $389. Payment plans are available, with an initial deposit of $1,250 and weekly or biweekly installments. Students also need a laptop, scrubs, stethoscope, and other supplies.
